Based on timing it probably shouldn't come as a surprise that tumblr has been my primary online haunt for a while; like many others I'm branching out because
It's nice to have a place that works a lot like LJ as one of those places to branch out to - I knew I missed some of these features, but just looking at the post editor as I type this, I honestly didn't realize just how much I did until just now.
I'm an adult, though I don't like to give my exact age unless I know people particularly well (keeping people guessing whether "adult" means 18 or 70 or 327 or something in between is fun to me) (as far as the internet is concerned I've been 24 since I was 16), I am roughly as queer as a $3 bill, and I go by he/him in the same sense as Bugs Bunny; gender is a performance and I'm stuck dangling over the audience on a faulty flight rig trying to make the best of it.
I like to post about tech (namely, how I love new tech about as much as I hate the Silicon Valley fuckery surrounding it; this includes liking AI and utterly despising its hype and 99% of its deployment in professional environments), disability, various miscellaneous hobbies and art forms I try out, cats (mine and others), various fandoms including:
And more! A lot more. My memory for what I like is weirdly terrible, honestly. This is very much a grab bag kind of situation.
I am also an artist, albeit the slowest one I know and currently recovering from carpal tunnel surgery, so, uh, don't expect me to be joining any daily art challenges or anything. 😅 I do a lot of different art forms, including but not limited to illustration, writing, sewing, beadwork, prop-building, dollmaking, needle felting, knitting, and looking into learning stained glass among other things when I have the full use of both hands again.
